German WWII RAD Enlisted Mans Display Piece

A very fine and clean example of a RAD hewer, maker marked by Alcoso. The surface shows only minor scratch marks, with no reprofiling or abuse. The motto ‘Arbeit Adelt’ remains deep and clear. The heavy nickel finish to the hilt is bright and intact, complemented by undamaged stag grips.

Fitted into its original scabbard, with very minor spotting to the face of the upper scabbard mount and perfect lower mount. The scabbard retains virtually all of its original paint, with slight spidering from the steel underneath and minor edge chips on the reverse. All screws are correct and intact, making this a highly desirable example.
