GERMAN WWII POLICE NON PORTABLE AWARD PLAQUE

A highly attractive, beautifully gilded 9.5cm circumference double-sided plaquette awarded by the Police President of Essen. Large coat of arms with ‘Police President Essen’ to the edge. On the reverse side is a huge central swastika thanking the recipient for their service to the outer edge.  Fitted into its presentation case with its closing catch, to the exterior lid the award was printed to ‘Police Amtmann Dilk 1st Oktober 1936’ with the original signature of the President of the Police in Essen.
