GERMAN WWII POLICE M.40 BEADED DOUBLE DECAL SEMI COMBAT HELMET WITH NON BORDERED DECAL

A very nice example of a scarce model police helmet, being a size 58 liner size, ET66 shell size all black helmet. Some minor rust bleed to the front forehead area of the helmet, and some minor rubbing and scratches, but otherwise the majority of the paint finish remains. The non-bordered police decal is completely untouched. The swastika decal has some abrasions, as can be seen by our web images. To the interior, the light tan 6-tongued liner is all complete with its original drawstring and its original leather strap. This helmet was featured in the softback work Combat Helmets of the Third Reich: A Study in Photographs by Thomas Kibler. We last sold this helmet in 2016 and have recently had it re-consigned to us.
