GERMAN WWII POLICE 18 YEAR LONG SERVICE MEDAL IN GILT ON CARD

An interesting artefact is the highly gilded Police 18-year Long Service Medal on the remaining piece of a Steinhauer & Luck display board with the medal description written in English. These boards were original WWII medals put together for souvenir hunting allied troops at the end of the war. This example is without its police embroidered ribbon.
