German WWII Paratrooper Badge – Late War Type K by Assmann

A stunning example of a late-war Fallschirmjäger combat award, known as the Type K, produced by the firm Assmann. The reverse is marked with both the standard Assmann maker mark and "L/64", confirming its wartime manufacture under the LDO (Leistungsgemeinschaft der Deutschen Ordenshersteller) system. Additionally, the number “2” is stamped above the right-hand rivet, consistent with known Type K variants.

This badge is representative of the later production techniques used by Assmann and is a highly sought-after piece among collectors.
