GERMAN WWII PANZER OFFICERS OVERSEAS CAP

A large size panzer officers overseas cap constructed in nice, high-quality material. No moth damage anywhere to the cap. Standard silver waffenfarbe to the full circumference of the upper envelope and to the front scallop of the cap. Fitted with its correct Bevo woven silver officers' eagle on a light green backing material. Standard bullion wire cockade with a complete run of panzer wool waffenfarbe. To the interior, there is evidence of much wear and use, and grey rayon lining. The full inner circumference of the cap has been fitted with a grey leather sweatband, the and owner’s initials ‘OR’ have been inked to the rayon lining.
