From a collection originally acquired in the Channel Islands of Great Britain during the 1970s. This example retains a bright surface finish, with much of the original cross grain still present. At some point, an attempt was made to sharpen the upper edge, which has slightly altered the profile, but the piece remains full length with a clear and deep Alles für Deutschland motto.
Some light surface staining is visible on the reverse side, which bears the RZM M7/85 marking for the firm of Arthur Evertz. Though this is a later production with plated elements, the overall appearance is more in line with early period examples. The lower reverse of the cross guard is group marked ‘WF’ for Westfalia.
The wooden grip is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The SA inset is undamaged, and the nickel national eagle is crisp and well detailed. Some minor tool marks are present on the upper nut, indicating the piece may have been dismantled at one point using pliers.
The scabbard retains virtually all of its original black painted finish, as designated for NSKK examples. The plated fittings remain in excellent condition, including the undamaged ball finial. All four screws are intact and show no signs of tampering.
