German WWII Model 33 SS Mans Display Piece

An excellent display piece by Boker, retaining a good degree of its original cross-grain finish, with only minor surface scratches and light markings from the scabbard’s inner brass retaining bands. The piece maintains its full original profile.

The upper and lower grip fittings are heavy nickel, with the lower cross guard stamped with the Roman numeral ‘I’ on the reverse. The grip has undergone a small repair to the lower right-hand side and shows minor indentations elsewhere. The enamel to the SS inset remains intact, complemented by a high-quality national eagle.

Fitted into its correct scabbard with heavy nickel mounts, a good portion of the original blueing remains, with slight rust bleed visible from the steel beneath. Minor indentations are present on the ball of the lower scabbard mount, and all four screws for the two mounts are intact.
