An excellent blade by Wustof of Solingen, the face side ‘Alles Fur Deutschland’ etching is good and deep with much cross-grain finish remaining to the blade and brightness. The reverse side has no lettering left where the Ernst Rohm inscription was originally laid. The grinding wheel has taken away the top part of the Wusthof logo. Excellent quality upper and lower heavy nickel cross guards with an undamaged brown wood grip, having a very high-quality national eagle and undamaged SA inset. Very good fittings to the scabbard. One minor indentation to the lower ball. It would appear that the original brown anodising to the scabbard has had some form of lacquer laid over it. Complete with its leather strap and its belt loop. Group marked ‘WF’ for Westfalia on the reverse side of the lower cross guard.
