German WWII MG42 Display Piece

A well-preserved and clean example of the iconic German WWII MG42, marked to the rear of the receiver with ‘1943 MG42 Gun number 3043’, and coded ‘CRA’. The original wooden stock shows honest field wear with some surface abrasions. The top cover is marked ‘3043’ and bears a clear Third Reich Waffenamt stamp, mirrored again at the rear of the receiver.

The bipod is correctly three-letter coded and consistent with the rest of the piece. This example retains its original character throughout, including early wartime production features.
