GERMAN WWII MG34 LAFETTE MACHINE GUN MOUNT

A fabulous condition 1940-dated MG34 Lafette mount, numbered ‘8550’. An unidentified triangular manufacturer's mark. The Lafette mount has all its accessories, including the spare bolt box and the mounts for the optic sight;  the front pads are covered in canvas, and the covering may be a replacement. The original range table is still intact at the very back of the mount. Good colour overall, which has not been repainted. The mount is also complete with its two very rare maker-coded and match-dated ‘41’ brown leather carrying straps.
