German WWII M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet

A well-preserved ET 64 size M40 combat helmet featuring a sharp and clearly defined Armed Forces single decal, with only a minor abrasion on the right wing. The original paint finish remains largely intact, exhibiting typical service wear and light abrasions, all clearly shown in our detailed website images.

The leather liner is partially complete, retaining four original tongues with the lower sections intact where tongues are missing. The original drawstring is still attached to the remaining tongues.

Fitted with its original chinstrap, the interior rear skirt proudly displays the batch number ‘379’.

A desirable and authentic example of the iconic M40 helmet, retaining much of its original character and period features.
