GERMAN WWII M35 SINGLE DECAL ARMY COMBAT HELMET

A size 62 shell constructed in the M 35 style and originally being a double decal helmet, possibly returned to the ordnance Depot and has been overpainted, leaving the Armed Forces decal, which has turned to a hue of gold, good and clear. The original tricolour decal can be seen through the overpaint. The interior is fitted with a M 40 zinc-banded liner, leather stamped  54, having excellent colour, and its original drawstring is complete. with its original chinstrap, which unfortunately has split. Traces of a three-digit number in red painted to the inner skirt of the helmet.
