German WWII M.43 Combat Trousers

A good example of the standard issue German M.43 combat trousers. Constructed in the typical wartime configuration with two angled side pockets (without flaps but buttoned), a watch fob pocket with flap, and wide belt loops. The reinforced seat section has been removed, showing evidence of long service use.

Several period ordnance repairs are visible, with inverted pieces of matching material applied beneath the crotch area and along the lower inside leg. These repairs are consistent with field maintenance and add to the authenticity and character of the piece.
