GERMAN WWII M.42 ARMY SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET

A very large helmet marked ‘CLK66’, batch number ‘2711’. The exterior has slight paint loss to the crown, some minor other abrasions, but a good, clear army decal with minor abrasions, as can be seen in our web images.  Liner retaining rivet heads all complete. Unfortunately, only the lower half of the liner remains; it appears to have suffered from what is called American red leather rot and dropped away; however, all the inner liner band is present with the remains of the liner.
