German WWII M.42 Army Single Decal Combat Helmet

A large-size M.42 shell, with rear skirt stampings too faint to decipher, though on test the liner measures approximately 58–59. The army single decal remains good and clear with minor abrasions. The paint finish across the remainder of the helmet is excellent, showing normal scuffs and handling marks.

Some rust bleed is present to the interior lower skirt, with further rusting inside the bowl. The original M.40 zinc-banded liner is intact, though the leather shows slight red rot, with two tongues missing and one split adjacent to a strap post. The strap itself is absent.
