GERMAN WWII M.38 ARMY SIGNALS OVERSEAS CAP

A well-service used enlisted man's M.38 overseas cap. All the nap from the cloth is missing, except for the areas protected by the side curtains and the upper envelope; also, some of the stitching has rotted and turned a light grey colour. Fitted with its grey on green Bevo woven eagle, which has degraded in parts, as can be seen by our web images. Cockade untouched with its inverted V section of lemon yellow signals piping. Stamped size ‘57’, maker marked and dated ‘1942’ to the interior brushed cotton lining.
