German WWII M.16 Transitional Helmet

Originally produced as an Austrian M.16 helmet in WWI, this example was later used by Czech forces and subsequently recaptured and reissued by the Third Reich. It has been refurbished with a zinc M.40 liner band and rounded-edge strap clips, while still retaining its Czech double-width leather chinstrap. The helmet bears a clear Army single decal with good swastika detail. The shell retains much of its paint finish with light rust bleed overall but no significant paint loss. Size 66 shell.
