German WWII Luftwaffe White Top Flight Section Visor Cap

A fine Luftwaffe visor cap featuring a white removable top, standard mohair centre band, and yellow waffenfarbe for flight section to both upper and lower edges of the band. Fitted with a matched set of aluminium eagle and cockade. The white top shows only minor age-related storage staining. Complete with standard double oval buckle chinstrap and double ribbed edged peak, showing slight congealing to the finish. Interior with light tan sweatband displaying evidence of wear, supple and intact, with a retailer’s mark. The cap has moth damage along the full circumference of the very bottom edge near the lower waffenfarbe, though the yellow piping itself remains untouched.
