German WWII Luftwaffe Very Early M.35 Double Decal Combat Helmet

A SE60 size M.35 shell, batch number 4516, retaining the majority of its early Luftwaffe blue finish with some light rust bleed, as visible in our web images. Fitted with the rare short-tailed Luftwaffe eagle. The national tricolour decal is complete with minor abrasions. Notably, one M.35 rivet cap has detached on one side, while the opposite side remains intact. Paint remains on all three liner retaining rivet heads. The interior liner retains almost all of its original light tan colour and is fitted with the correct aluminium M.35 liner band and square-edged strap attachments. The original strap and aluminium buckle are present.
