German WWII Luftwaffe Tropical Visored Field Cap

An exceptional and evocative example of a Luftwaffe tropical visored field cap, heavily sun-bleached to near white from extensive service in the North African campaign. The front retains its correct tan-edged national cockade and hand-applied grey-on-tan eagle, both showing subtle service patina. The eagle bears a small stain consistent with other sun and sweat marks across the cap, adding to its unmistakable authenticity. Fraying is visible along the rear edge and around the visor, further emphasising its hard field use. The interior lining, also bleached white, has loosened slightly from the main body. A truly atmospheric piece of tropical Luftwaffe headgear, capturing the harsh conditions and character of the desert war.
