A medium-sized Luftwaffe enlisted man's tropical tunic in standard configuration, highly sought-after as a piece of tropical field gear. It features a six-button closure, with all buttons being of the removable type for easy washing. The tunic has four patch pockets, with the two upper pockets correctly incorporating pleats.
The interior exhibits faint ink markings from the well-known manufacturer Peek & Cloppenburg, a retail firm that is still in operation in Germany today. The tunic has seen use and has been washed, resulting in slight, natural fading of the tan material, which adds to its combat character.
Insignia fitted include shirt-material slip-on shoulder boards piped in the distinct red Waffenfarbe, indicating service with Flak (Anti-Aircraft) Artillery units. The Luftwaffe tropical eagle, of standard light grey on tan construction, is a replacement piece applied to the tunic. Loops for one award are present on the upper right-hand pocket flap.
