German WWII Luftwaffe Tropical Overseas Cap

A very nice, service-worn enlisted ranks tropical overseas cap, constructed in a mid-weight material between the lightweight smooth and heavy ribbed varieties. Size stamped ‘56½’, with a faint interior date of ‘1941’. Fitted with the correct triangular form Luftwaffe blue-grey eagle on a tan background, accompanied by the correct Bevo woven national cockade. Some minor degradation is present just below the cockade, with a few lining stitches having rotted through age.
