A well-used but generally excellent example of a Luftwaffe paratrooper smock in tan and water camouflage pattern. Constructed from heavy duck material, preferred by collectors over the lighter variants, it retains all five original Luftwaffe blue buttons. The two upper openings feature metal zips by Rapid, while the lower two zips are plastic RiRi examples; all four retain their original leather pullers. The smock still has its rear flare pistol holster, though one button on the closure flap is missing.

Faint remains of the RB number, size II in Roman numerals, and a partial date of ‘1944’ are visible on the upper inside right-hand panel. The lower cuffs and hem show fraying, and interior sleeve windproof cuffs have been removed. A period canvas field repair is present on the lower left interior, and one press stud of the male/female fastener is missing, though the rest are rusted but complete. The rear panels show minor snags but no moth damage.

The interior waist pull cord housing is intact, though the cord itself is missing, with some stitching rot. Standard air vents remain under each armpit. The smock is fitted with a light grey on tan Luftwaffe tropical breast eagle, machine-stitched and likely factory applied. Overall, this is a very good displayable paratrooper smock, showing full functional integrity and evidence of active service wear.
