GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE SUMMER WEIGHT FLYING HELMET

The salt and pepper canvas material of the summer-weight flying helmet, seen heavily used in the Battle of Britain. Complete with its Seimans silk-woven technical label, with its earphones, its throat microphones, and its long lead with the jack plug for fitting to the aeroplane. Part of the rubber covering of the electrics on the long cord has rotted and broken away. All other straps present, buckles working correctly. A good example.
