German WWII Luftwaffe Single Decal M40 Combat Helmet

A very good example of the M40 combat helmet, shell stamped ‘ET68’ with batch number ‘510’. The exterior retains nearly all of its original Luftwaffe blue-grey finish, showing only light abrasions and a stacking ring mark around the crown. The single Luftwaffe eagle decal remains bright, with minor wear consistent with use.

The interior features a well-preserved nine-tongued mid-tan leather liner, set into the standard zinc band, all in excellent condition. A desirable large-size example of a classic Luftwaffe combat helmet.
