German WWII Luftwaffe Single Decal Combat Helmet with Manoeuvre Band Fitted

A very fine example of a size SE60 M.40 Luftwaffe combat helmet, retaining all of its original blue-grey paint finish. The Luftwaffe eagle decal remains completely intact and undamaged. The helmet is fitted with its original reversible yellow and red manoeuvre band, secured in place by all three original cotton clips. The interior features a complete leather liner with all tongues present, two congealed, and one clearly size stamped ‘53’. The drawstring is absent, and the chinstrap remains in untouched condition, though unmarked by a maker. Batch number ‘4511’ is stamped to the inner rear skirt. Scarce to find in this small size.
