A very fine example of a German WWII Luftwaffe Signals white top visor cap, showing only minimal signs of age and virtually unworn overall. The removable white cotton top shows some light age foxing and minor staining, but remains in very good condition.
Fitted with a matching set of stamped aluminium Luftwaffe eagle and cockade, along with the standard leather chinstrap and oval buckles. The peak is the correct Luftwaffe type with a double-edged rim. Brown piping to the top and bottom of the mohair centre band identifies this cap as being for the Luftwaffe Signals branch.
The interior features a light tan sweatband, still showing fresh colour, and a full inner lining. A particularly attractive detail is the clear celluloid diamond bearing a blue and gold retailer's label from Munich’s Dachaustrasse. While not size stamped, it measures approximately size 56 on test.
A sharp and complete example of a Luftwaffe Signals NCO visor, rarely found in such clean condition.
