German WWII Luftwaffe Radio Operator/Air Gunner Badge

A fine example of a non-maker marked Luftwaffe Radio Operator/Air Gunner badge, featuring a well-preserved silvered finish to the oak and laurel leaf wreath. The dark patinated diving eagle, clutching lightning bolts, retains excellent detail and finish.

Constructed in a pleasing convex shape, the badge is secured by two small, delicate rivets on the reverse. It is complete with its original pin, hook, and hinge assembly. A very good, untouched example of this classic Luftwaffe qualification badge.
