German WWII Luftwaffe Pilot’s Badge

An excellent example of a Luftwaffe Pilot’s Badge manufactured by BSW, constructed in zinc. The oak and laurel leaf wreath retains virtually all of its original silver finish, while the eagle still displays most of its darkened patinated finish, particularly in the lower wing areas.

The reverse side shows the characteristic bubbling often seen on BSW-made pieces. The badge remains complete with its original pin, hook, and hinge, along with two untouched rivets. A well-preserved and desirable example.
