GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS VISOR CAP

An Erel produced Luftwaffe officers saddle shaped cap. The cap has seen considerable wear, there is no moth to anywhere on the upper body, the silver waffenfarbe around the crown and the upper and lower sections of the mohair centre band has dulled somewhat. Complete with a very nice matching set of the short winged Luftwaffe officers bullion eagle and matching cockade. Standard chin cords, double ribbed front peak as found on most Luftwaffe officers caps. To the interior the original leather sweatband has suffered, faint traces of its Erel trademark but there are various splits and losses as can be seen from our web images. The interior satin lining excellent with a complete undamaged centre celluloid lozenge, silver blocked below the celluloid ‘Verkaufs-Abteilung Der Luftwaffe, Berlin SW68 Puttkammerstr.16/18’ with the Erel Sonderklass marking below. An ideal cap for a combat look mannequin. Approximately size 56 or 57.
