German WWII Luftwaffe Officers Flight Blouse

A superb and highly attractive example of the Luftwaffe officers flight blouse, renowned for its elegant simplicity. This medium-size tunic is fitted with stitch-in insignia for a Flight Pilot, featuring yellow flight-based shoulder boards and matching collar patches adorned with a bullion wreath and gulls. An early droop-tailed breast eagle enhances its classic appeal.

The blouse is equipped with two rows of three loops for twin medal ribbon bars, with one ribbon bar remaining, displaying the Luftwaffe long service ribbon and the Spanish Civil War award—perfectly complementing the early droop-tailed eagle. Standard silver cording graces the collar, and a fully original padded Luftwaffe officers pilot’s badge in bullion weave is fitted.

The interior features the standard blue-grey lining, with a single hanger for the suspension of a Luftwaffe officers dagger. The fly-front closure retains all original buttons. There are three discreet moth damage repairs—two to the lower front skirt beneath the eagle and one near the upper closure button—preserving the blouse’s overall integrity and display quality.
