Possibly the most attractive of all of the variations of officers' tunics for the Luftwaffe is the simple cut flight blouse. This example is in a medium size, fitted with the stitch-in insignia of a Flight Pilot. Yellow flight-based shoulder boards with matching collar patches with bullion wreath and gulls. A nice quality early droop-tailed breast eagle fitted. Two rows of three loops for twin medal ribbon bars, one medal ribbon bar remaining having the Luftwaffe long service ribbon with its Luftwaffe motif and the Spanish Civil War award, which of course matches with the early period droop-tailed breast eagle. Standard silver cording to the collar and fitted with a very nice and totally original Luftwaffe padded officers' pilot’s badge in bullion weave. Standard blue grey interior lining. A single hanger for the suspension of a Luftwaffe officer's dagger. Standard flight blouse with a fly front closure and all original buttons fitted. Three moth damage repairs, two to the lower front skirt below the eagle and one close to the upper closure button.
