A well-used example of a Luftwaffe officer’s white top visor cap, showing service wear throughout. Although not size stamped, the cap appears to be approximately size 59 or 60.

Fitted with its standard removable white top made from cross-hatched canvas, which remains in very good condition. The cap features a bullion wire eagle laid on the removable top, and a stitched bullion wire national cockade applied directly to the dark blue-grey mohair centre band. Bullion cap cords are in place, held by two silver side buttons.

The peak is of the double-ribbed variety, showing slight crazing consistent with age. The bullion wire cockade is slightly loose but remains attached.

To the interior, the mid-tan leather sweatband shows clear signs of wear and is discoloured, though still intact. The interior satin lining is complete but stained from use, with a full centre celluloid lozenge in place. No maker’s logo is visible beneath the lozenge, suggesting it was never applied.

A fine, service-worn example of the iconic Luftwaffe white top cap.
