GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE OBSERVER BADGE BY MEYBAUER

A very nice example of the Luftwaffe Observers Badge. The laurel and oak leaf wreath retains all its original finish. The unique style observer eagle also retains its dark grey patinated finish. The eagle is attached to the wreath by two very delicate domed nickel rivets. The needle pin is twisted indicating that it has been service used, with its original hinge and round wire catch. The markings on the reverse side are the large ‘PM’; all of the features of this badge match completely with known examples.
