German WWII Luftwaffe Observer Badge by Meybauer

An exceptional example of the Luftwaffe Observer Badge, showcasing a beautifully preserved laurel and oak leaf wreath with its original finish intact. The distinctive observer eagle features a rich dark grey patina and is securely attached to the wreath by two delicate domed nickel rivets. Signs of genuine wear are evident in the slightly twisted needle pin, which remains complete with its original hinge and elegant round wire catch. The reverse is stamped with a bold ‘PM’ maker’s mark, fully consistent with verified authentic badges of this type.
