German WWII Luftwaffe Medical Section NCO or Man’s Visor Cap

A fine example of a rare Luftwaffe medical section enlisted ranks or NCO’s visor cap. Constructed in Luftwaffe blue-grey enlisted issue cloth, showing only two small moth nips—one to the crown and another to the lower edge. Blue piping is featured on the crown as well as on the upper and lower sections of the mohair centre band. Fitted with a matched set of the early droop-tailed eagle and standard cockade, with a double buckle chinstrap and the double-edged front visor style typical of Luftwaffe caps. The interior has a light tan ersatz sweatband, green satin crown and side lining, and a complete unbroken celluloid lozenge bearing the Pekuro maker’s logo. Estimated size 55.
