German WWII Luftwaffe M42 Single Decal Combat Helmet

A very nice example of a raw edge M42 Luftwaffe combat helmet, retaining virtually all of its original blue paint finish with only minor surface rust. The Luftwaffe decal remains complete, apart from a small abrasion across the left wing and the loss of the eagle’s head tip. The interior is marked ‘HKO 64’ with batch number ‘5000’. Fitted with its original liner in excellent colour, complete with all leather tongues and original drawstring. The chinstrap is present, showing some solidification but remains stable. The liner is ink stamped ‘57’.
