German WWII Luftwaffe M42 Camouflage Combat Helmet

A good example of a Luftwaffe M42 combat helmet, shell stamped ‘NS64’ with batch number ‘2256’. The exterior features a field-applied green and brown camouflage finish, with the faint outline of the original Luftwaffe decal still visible beneath the paint.

The interior retains its complete liner, which remains soft and well-coloured, complete with its original drawstring. The chinstrap is also original, clearly maker marked and dated ‘1942’. Some rust bleed is present along the interior skirt, consistent with age. A classic mid-to-late war combat helmet with camouflage finish.
