German WWII Luftwaffe Kapok Life Vest

A very good and clean example of a Luftwaffe Kapok-Schwimmweste. The vest retains excellent colour with only minor spot staining. All wooden closure toggles and strapping are intact, with no shredding to the kapok-filled tubing. The original printed technical label remains in place. These life vests were typically used in multi-crew aircraft, such as bombers and transports, and are frequently seen in period images from the Battle of Britain.
