German WWII Luftwaffe Green Trophelm

A lovely condition Luftwaffe trophelm featuring double decals and constructed in the standard format with a six-panel crown, two-panel lower skirt, and central band. It retains its original red top air vent lining, mid-tan chinstrap, and matching mid-tan leather sweatband.

There is evidence of light service use, including minor moth damage to the grey felt between the liner board and the leather sweatband. The liner band is maker coded and dated ‘1942’ and the sweatband also carries a clear maker stamp. A well-preserved example of this tropical issue headgear.
