GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE FLIGHT SECTION WHITE TOP SUMMER CAP

A very nice condition white removable top summer cap, complete with its matching stamped aluminium set of insignia, standard NCO chinstrap, double ribbed edge peak; the top has not been stained through age. Some minor moth nips to the yellow waffenfarbe that runs surrounding the upper and lower sections of the mohair centre band. The interior is lined and is maker marked ‘Ludwig Worz, Ulm’ in silver block to the unused tan leather sweatband. The orange foam cushion that normally sits behind the forehead area has solidified and broken away with a small amount remaining. The size is 56.
