GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE FLAK NCO WHITE TOP CAP

A very nice condition, possibly unworn Luftwaffe flak man's or NCO white top cap. The grained white top has age foxing and light discolouration but no damage or staining, fitted with its early droop-tailed short-winged eagle and national cockade. The mohair centre band is standard on all Luftwaffe nco/man's caps. Red piped for flak artillery to the upper and lower sections of the band. Fitted with the standard Luftwaffe double buckled chinstrap and the peak having the commonly encountered double ribbed front edge, one slight nick to the edge itself. To the interior, the light tan sweatband has no signs of wear. The interior of the cap is completely unlined and still has its original white tissue paper packing installed behind the saddle shape.
