German WWII Luftwaffe Flak Badge

A fine, bright example of the Luftwaffe Flak Badge, produced in heavy nickel with excellent depth of detail. Non-maker-marked, of semi-hollow construction. The original hinge and catch remain intact; the pin appears to be the original, showing a slight twist consistent with service wear. The small retaining pin for the hinge has been replaced with a contemporary piece of wire. A strong example of this desirable combat badge.
