German WWII Luftwaffe Camouflage M42 Helmet

A semi-camouflaged large size Luftwaffe M42 helmet with single decal. The shell is stamped ET64, batch number 1610. The eagle decal shows some abrasions, and the camouflage paint is faint and subdued, consistent with the overall condition of the helmet. Fitted with an original undated, unmarked mid-to-late war chinstrap, likely a period addition. The interior lining is pigskin, 8-tongued and supple, with its original drawstring. The soldier’s name is painted in red on the inner skirt. A nice original helmet.
