A very nice condition Luftwaffe bergmutze, standard enlisted man's cloth construction, no moth damage. Good nap to the cloth with its correct machine embroidered silver on Luftwaffe blue grey backing cloth, national cockade. Two pebbled silvered buttons to the front of the cap. Profusely stamped to the blue grey brown lining ‘DEUTSCHE SEKLEIDUNGS-WERKSTATTEN’ RB number and faint date ‘1943’ size ‘56’. Standard short peak, correct for a bergmutze.
