GERMAN WWII LUFTWAFFE 2ND PATTERN OFFICERS DISPLAY PIECE

Very good blade; the tip is complete but slightly bent. Good cross-grain finish remaining. Maker marked ‘Alcoso, Solingen’. Deep orange grip, which is completely undamaged, with its grip wire. Good finish remaining to the upper pommel and central cross guard. Internal leather washer at the top of the blade is present. Fitted into its scabbard, which has toned heavily but no dented, with a nice set of deluxe dagger straps, Luftwaffe blue-grey velvet-lined on the reverse side. All sprung-loaded clips fully operational.
