German WWII Luftschutz Buckle

A superb example of a Luftschutz buckle, crafted from stamped steel and presented in virtually mint, unused condition. There is only a minor scuff to the lower left-hand side, which does not detract from its overall pristine appearance. The reverse is clearly marked ‘R S & S’ and features the original double-pronged belt fixing system.
