German WWII Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler Complete File

A very good and complete file of documents relating to SS Sturmann Walter Koch of the 2nd Artillery Regiment, Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler. The group includes the official citation for the Krim Shield, dated 1st July 1943, bearing the facsimile signature of Field Marshal von Manstein. Accompanying the award citation is Koch’s full SS service file, which contains a photograph of him, likely the same image used in his soldbuch. The photo depicts Koch hatless, wearing the M.36 uniform with black shoulder boards and the SS runic collar patch clearly visible. A rare and highly desirable SS paperwork grouping.
