German WWII Kriegsmarine Tropical M.41 Field Cap

A service-worn example of the Kriegsmarine tropical M.41 visored field cap, far scarcer in used condition compared to the more frequently encountered mint, unissued examples. This cap shows heavy staining and wear around the peak area, reflecting genuine field use. Fitted with its correct yellow-on-tan Bevo-woven national eagle above the matching tan-based cockade. Features include two zinc air vents and a light green interior lining. Clearly size-stamped ‘58½’ followed by the letter ‘W’, which may denote Wilhelmshaven. A very good and honest service-used Kriegsmarine tropical cap.
