GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE SENIOR OFFICERS WHITE TOP VISOR CAP

In magnificent condition, virtually unworn senior naval officer's visor cap with removable white top. The white top is of the standard form and material. Fitted with its gilded Kriegsmarine eagle, gold bullion-wire national cockade with its removable centre band, standard Naval strap, and twin gilded anchor side buttons. The bullion wire trim to the front of the peak has toned to a silver-grey colour. To the interior, the mid-tan leather sweatband is all intact, with its still-attached price tag; the lettering to the price and/or size tag is faded, but on test this is probably 57 or 58, light cream rayon lining, with the totally undamaged centre celluloid lozenge, a magnificent item.
