GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE OFFICERS TROPICAL M.41 FIELD CAP

A rare cap, being the officer's version of the M.41 tropical field cap. Silver piping around the lower side of the cap. The insignia fitted is the standard Kriegsmarine gold on tan backing; the gold weave, although not as bright as normal officers', is brighter than the standard Bevo weave insignia for the enlisted man's cap. The cap cockade is a standard enlisted man's. Twin air vents,  Kriegsmarine green lining, stamped size ‘58’, full RB number and date ‘1943’ all in white ink.
